Hi,
If this is in the wrong place please move it.This is just a silly question, Tolly has black paw pads, Daisy has pink ones but Chloes are mixed and I wondered if a lot of tabbies had mixed up feet.

Solid tabbies usually will have single color pads (pink for reds, oranges, creams and buffs, black or sometimes mauve for browns, silvers and blues).

Tabby/white can have diff. color pads, and torbies can as well.

Our brown mackeral tabby has a black/mauve paw pad combo though.

Zissou is a silver tabby, with a bit of white on her belly (where they shaved for the spay) and up around her neck. Her paws are totally brown/black/grey (its not really a color, but its all one color and its dark).

Your baby's paw is adorable.

I never really looked, but it seems the solid tabbys (without white) will have dark pads (the brown tabbies). The red or blue seem to have pink pads. If the tabbys have white on them, they will have mixed - white cats (as far as I know) have pink paw pads.

Ling is black/white and her pads are mixed.

Piebald white spotting is what causes the pink toepads (and gums & noses). If there is a white spot where the skin would be, the skin will be pink.

Someone told me that a mixed color paw pad indicates that the cat has a tortie background

Sash's paw pads are dark black.
By the way, cute little paw your kitty has there!

Quill is a brown tabby and white bicolour and his paw pads are black and pink. His look exactly like the one in the pic.

My rambo has a mixed bag of pads...and a half pink/half black nose! One of my fosters (tabby) has all black feet and her sister (black and white) has a mixture of colours.

Java has multi-colored paw pads...it's really funny, because her paws are white, but the pads aren't! Pixel's are all pink except for her partly-black foot, & Cable & Chip have all black ones. but Cable is tabby, not tabby & white. her only white is right around her mouth.

My parents cat Swoozie is a b/w tuxedo kitty and she's got paws like that, mostly pink with the odd black pad thrown here and there.
It's pretty cute!

Suzie is a gray tabby with a bit of orange (she's a sorta torbie). One of her back paws is very light colored and half the pads are pink. The rest of her pads are black. Her bro is a orange tabby with pink pads.
To round out the lineup, Rocky is black/white tuxie- his feet are white but the pads are all black. Zakk is a black white biciolor, all his feet are white but his paw pads are about 1/2 pink and 1/2 black,

I'm glad I am not the only one with nothing better to do than study their cats feet
