Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!

It's a little early, but it's prebably getting close, if not already Mother's Day for some.

My son is coming over for breakfast, and I'll be seeing my daugther later during the day. I had really hoped to get them both together, but she has to work.

My daughter's BF sent me flowers today!
I was so surprised. Not sure what my husband has planned - he will probably cook breakfast.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

DH bought some flowers for the kids to help plant in the yard. Of course it rained pretty hard yesterday, and is supposed to rain today, too, so I'm not sure when we will plant them! LOL!

We will have a big dinner later, with BBQ ribs-Yum!

I know there have been some great losses this year, those we know of and those we don't. I offer special hugs to Yasmine, and to Cathy's family. We really miss the "Mom's" who have left us on this special day.

Happy Mothers Day to all!! My mom and I are not getting along right now, so I am a bit sad(long story) but anyhoo-guess I will try and have a great day with my DH and kids. Hope everyone else's is great!!

My Mother's Day was crummy. My mom is sick and she couldn't make it to the family gathering so it felt like something was missing. I made her a cd with all our special songs on it, I know she will love it but I really wanted to give it to her today! Plus I got her a Kohl's gift certificate and I was on my way to get her a perrenial plant to plant at her house, when she called and said she wasn't coming. I'll just go get one when she says I'll see her next I guess. One weird thing that happened, my ex husband called and said my ex kitties wanted him to call and say Happy Mother's Day to me! While he was talking they were meowing in the background. I thought that was so sweet! Too bad he never did that kind of stuff when we were married!

That's funny (and frustrating) about your ex... he must miss you a bit to be acting like that.

Thank you! That's what my mom said too....of course, she's always thought we'd get back together someday...

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

My mother's day was awesome. I spent the day with my son and my husband, just the three of us. We went to the zoo here and spent hours there and then after we went for icecream. Telaryn was so well behaved, it was the best mother's day ever!
