Hi everybody!

My name is Carla and I am from Delaware and I am a nurse. I have been on and off here since prob August. I have 3 beautiful cats! Let me introduce you to them:

Junior: my killer. He's great. A little antisocial. I am the only person that he gives any attention to. He is an outdoor kitty. He was born on August 19th, 2005 and his mom was my precious Cilla (more about her later). He was fixed at 12 weeks of age. His favorite pasttimes are killing snakes, moles, and mice. 2 weeks ago he brought a 3 foot snake up to me while i was outside. I was quite scared sinces the snake was still alive. He is orange and nothing but muscle. He has his mommie's trademark bullseye on each side of his tummy *hence his name Junior* (that and I'm a huge Dale Jr fan). His trademark is running sideways (it's hilarious).

Lillie: my special needs cat. She has vision problems and the vet says she prob did not have enough room in the womb. Her brother - Junior - is her caregiver. You never see one without the other. She was fixed at 12 weeks also. She was born on August 19th, 2005. When Junior is attacking anything she attacks the air about 3 feet away from him. She is so special to us. She is orange w/ stripes and just a tad smaller than Junior. Her trademark is licking my toes.

Snowball: my newest addition. I found her a week ago in the parking lot of a grocery store. I thought that she was a wad of tissues until she looked up at me and meowed. She is officially 4 weeks old. She is the official love of my life. She sleeps in a basket next to my bed. I bought a baby monitor so that I could hear her cry when I am out and about in the yard or in other parts of the house. She is a ball of white fluff with the most gorgeous blue eyes. Her trademark is walking forward 3 steps and then walking backwards 1 foot. *She is just getting a handle on the whole walking thing*

Priscilla: aka Cilla, or Cilly girl. September 1 2004 - April 5th, 2006. She is the prime example of why all outdoor cats should be spayed/neutered. I was a full-time college student working full-time. I received her as a present from my parents. I did not have the money to get her fixed. She ended up having 2 kittens - Junior and Lillie. I did not know that she could get pregnant so soon after giving birth to her litter. About 7 weeks after Junebug and lillie were born I noticed that she was bleeding badly. I took her to an emergency vet and he did surgery on her and fixed her. She was never quite the same again. She recieved too much anesthesia during surgery. When I took her to my vet he said that she had heart problems. Her heart finally gave away on 4-5-06, the saddest day. My dad built her a coffin and we laid her to rest the next day. Exactly 1 month to the day of her death I found my precious Snowball. It was like a gift from cilla.

So end note - Please spay/neuter your cats if you are not planning on breeding them.

Awl! Such sweet babies... I would love to see a more recent pic of Snowball with her blue eyes showing!

How much did Cilla weigh? She looks small, but she was beautiful. I love her face... her children inherited it.

I have a 10 year old chihuahua. His name is Peter Rabbit (aka petey) He is pure bread but will never be a show dog (he weighs 14 lbs only supposed to be 6)... He is the absolute spoiled one of the family ... he has his own room, closet, and wardroe. will add a pic later of him

What a beautiful family you have. Snowball is too precious. I can see why you thought she was a tissue.

If you need help navigating the site, please let me know. I will do what I can to help.

Currently I am a LPN .. and I work in long term care. I also work at an emergancy walk in center in a local beach town. I have a semester left before I get my RN degree and I want to specialize in wounds and ostomies.

Neat...I worked in a nursing home and did home health care as I worked my way through a 2 year degree and my RN (took my LPN boards too while in school...I wanted to be sure I'd be able to practice as a nurse if the RN boards turned out to be super tough.

Long term and nursing home care is such an important job imho.
