I spent my morning cleaning vomit and at the vet... Kandie is my nearly 18 yr old CRF girl... I was planning to make an appt for the next week or so as my vet is moving to a bigger space ....

Well this morning she vomited her breakfast ( both of them ) and was peeing in dots so I called the vet to get the er number or a reference for another vet... I was so lucky she had decided to be open till noon as usual ... I got Kandie right in and she drew blood( monday I get the results, I am so worried) , gave fluids and gave amocillin so she is home and ate a few times ( crossing fingers she doesnt vomit anymore) and she peed a reasonable pee...

Please pray the blood work is fine.... and this is simply a infection that can be treated....

Wow, 18 yrs old! Sounds like you have done a wonderful job caring for her! Keep us posted as to her results on Monday. Here's some "healthy" vibes for Kandie~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hope she feels better soon!

Kandie is sleepy and not drinking but she did potty and she is eating... Thank you

I am worried scared and sad ,,,, I am glad I got her to the vet after a heated issue with mother.. It was 11 years the 26 th of april since I lost an animal , I am not ready , hopefully neither is she...

I doubt Kandie would still be here without the love and care you've given her. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow, for a simple uti that is responding well to medication.

Kandies kidneys are actually getting a bit better ... I have to give KUDOS to many of you and my vet for this improvement ......


We will continue to give her canned and raw and some supplements...
