When I took snowball to the vet I was given 2 meds ... Albon which I am supposed to give her once a day for 8 days and Nemex which she was given at the office and I am supposed to give her some today and some on the 18th. My original concern with her was that she hadn't gone poo and the vet gave her an enema and she has gone since. My question now is does anybody know if these meds cause diarrhea? The one day I forgot to give her the medicine (oops) she had a solid bowel movement the next day. But every other time I have given her the meds she has had liquid poo's *and boy do they smell*. Is this normal for these meds?

BTW She is 4 weeks old now.

The medicine is for stomach and intestinal worms in case ya don't know.

The de wormer in my experience has given my babies explosive diarhea, it really cleans them out, but I guess that is a good thing, with all the worms with it!

Just be sure 24 hours after each deworming that her litterbox is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to keep the worms from reoccuring.

Yes, wormer does give them the runs.
If she'll take it, offer her a little plain yogurt the day after each worming, it'll help even out her digestive tract.

This is perfect advice. I would just like to add, to make sure she is staying hydrated and not losing weight. To check for dehydration it is best to look at the color of the urine, than by pinching the back of the neck in young kittens.
I hope she is feeling better soon.

I use cardboard boxes and after each poo I just throw the box away. I just moved so i have tons of boxes ... I have never had an indoor cat before (I have 2 outdoor cats *who are both fixed btw*) so I am not used to cleaning litter boxes. So throwing it away works for me.
