Look at these pics and tell me what you think this is! And I will tell ya after so many guesses. My daughter had us all scared for a while! She was broke out all over her legs and arms.....and talk about freaking us out!

Nope-actually she got into my HOT tanning lotion, when I was cleaning out my car.....DH and I racked our brains to try and think what it could be. And that it was only on her arms and legs-and I was like *ding ding* I bet its from my lotion! I got her in a cool bath and its pretty much fading now, but it did skeer us!!
That's what happened to me when I went to Vegas. I had it all over my neck and arms and part of my face.
I have also never heard of Hot Tanning Lotion?? What is it? And why would it cause you to have your skin burned like that? Ouch it sure looks like that must of hurt.

Well its for tanning beds and they have a hot/tingle sensation that causes your skin to turn red. It is supposed to speed up the process of your tan.

Ok-heres what the bottle says....
-Contains a natural derivative of vitamin E that increases the oxygen and blood supply to the outer layer of skin for Maxium Tanning Results.
I'll bet that was a scary thing......kinda looked like hives...maybe. We use the *hot* tanning lotion also and I can tell you from personal experience, that if you put it on your face and neck in about ten minutes they will be very red. Its even worse if you have just shaved and apply some.
My wife won't even consider putting it on her face, she says its just to uncomfortable to deal with. We have used it for several years and it does seem to *intensify* the heat from the tanning beds........but does work very well. It is also a bit PRICEY.

I used some that was in a bottle in the shpe of a beer bottle and man I was red for a few days after using that stuff. It was called Tequilla something. Never again will I use that stuff.
me & my sis use it when we go to the tanning salon (1 month before summer, or before vacation) I use Spiked Butter. It has a tingling factor in it. You just get red for like an hour after you go tanning. But it has a bronzer in it to give you that extra tan look. Just don't exfoliate or you'll scrub it all off. It doesn't really hurt, it just feels like you have sun burn for like an hour, that's it. And only on sensative areas, like your face or butt cheeks. But you maximize your tan when you use it.
Once after we went tanning she picked up my nephew like an hour later and he broke out in a rash, she took him to the dr. and they thought, allergic reaction to something, but no one knew what. Till the next time we went tanning...same thing...now we know...

Yup-thats also happened with her, after my mom or I tan and we hold her, she breaks out in a rash, but this time, was horrible! I am just thankful she didnt get it in her eyes or mouth/face.

Nope-she got into it herself! I leave it in my car and I was cleaning it out and ran inside for a sec, and she found it! It just took awhile to show up, and then when it did, it didnt don on me what it was until I thought about it for awhile.

She turned 2 in Feb.
my boys are 4 & 8. They get into things in the blink of an eye.
