My cats where jumping and running around like crazy, so went to see what they were doing, and then i heard a buzzing sound. And i realized that they had a wasp or bee and where playing with it. They usually play with flys and stuff so its not a first time they have found somthing to play with, but this time its a flying creature that can hurt them. They don't seem to be trying to kill it, but they're sticking it in their mouth and wont let it go. i try to make them leave it along cuz i don't want them to get stung, but they might have been already. what do i do? are cats illergic to bee's or anything? by the way, I AM illergic to it, so i'm trying to stay a way from it cuz i don't wanna get stung.

I live in Rochester NY in a 2 bedroom apartment.
This may sound mean, but if they get stung they will remember what a bee is and never mess with one again. I try to kill them before they can get to them, and yell and stomp and flail my arms to get them away. I don't think any of our cats as a kid ever got sick, house cats or our barn cats ever did get sick and I remember them getting stung. If they do, you may have to pull a stinger out. But that is just a part of life. I had a big old Pit Bull who had an unfortunate run in with a bee when he was 8 or 9 months old. For the rest of his life that big dog was terrified of bees, he would run and cry whenever he saw one.

Glory got stung by one once. Her paw swelled up and the vet had us give her some liquid benadryl. I'd just keep an eye on them and if you notice anything, give the vet a call.
