My BF has had enough of me taking up half a cupboard with tea when he has just two types of coffee (instant and ground
), so I was wondering what types of tea do you have?

In my cupboard I have (and all of these are drunk regularly):

Tetley
PG Tips (the proper ones from the UK in pyramid bags)
English Breakfast
Irish Breakfast
Earl Grey
Sri Lankan Gold
South African Red
Asian White
Green
Orange Choc Chip Flavoured Black
Fruit & Herb
Cranberry
Blackcurrant
Apple Mango
Summer Berry
Cherry Flavoured Green

Wow!, that is quite the list!, I myself am a big tea drinker but I drink it in place of coffee, all I drink though is Red Rose orange pekoke, looks like it's time to expand my horizons

Twinings Assam is my favourite everyday tea.

Because I have nowhere to store milk at work, I drink fruit or herbal teas and I have a drawer full of those. My favourites are Blackcurrant; Cherry; Strawberry & Vanilla as well Liquorice and Mint.

Irish breakfast is stronger in flavor and caffeine than English Breakfast I think.

I have always been a tea drinker rather than coffee. Bosnians only drink fruit and herbal teas, so I have a good supply of those, including some for medicinal purposes, for both me and the cats. I do love Camomile, especially to help me sleep. I bring back Earl Grey,Assam and breakfast tea from Britain each time I go, in large bags that I seal to keep fresh.

Sleepytime and Stress Reliever are the ones I drink most, right before bed because they knock me out, but I like all flavors really, mostly mint, orange, berry, etc...

I love tea! I order my tea loose from a tea importing company. (I don't know if I can say the name or not, I don't mean it to be spam.) Two of my current favorites are "Golden Kenya" and "China Yunnan". They are both Orange-Pekoe teas, but the growing conditions produce markedly different flavors.

We drink Japanese Green Tea, I like to put a slice of lemon in mine.

We also have Assam and various flavoured green teas'. Pete likes his coffe 'pods', which i find a bit too strong for me.

Since we started drinking green tea i haven't really missed Tetley or PG and my sugar intake has been reduced a lot as a result

So not only am i de-toxing by drinking lots of green tea but getting thinner as well (i can hope anyway
)

I drink decaffinated tea mostly and any brand. I also love the herbal teas and my favorites are : Lemon Soother, Tension Tamer and Sleepytime but I also love a flavoured one called Summer berry and it has a strawberry flavour in it. I love honey in my herbal teas but I use milk and splenda in my decaf tea.

Hmmm...I have some English Breakfast tea (almost out though!), some chamomile, peppermint, and some fruity flavors like orange jasmine, raspberry, apple/cranberry, lemon, etc and then some Christmas spicy ones my mother gave me. They are nice but overly strong. The smell even gives me headaches!

Hmmm....Me thinks I shall go make some tea and polish off those Stella Doro cookies my mother brought me last weekend!

My favourite tea is Chai Tea. I usually drink it every day. It's like having a desert, it's so spicey and delicious. When I can afford it, I like a Jamacian Rum Vanilla tea, as well. I don't really care for tea that TASTES like tea.

I drink all sorts of tea, all loose tho. I drink mostly black and green tea. Sometimes Oolong tea.

All tea has lots of benefits and the fresher the better =o)

My black tea I drink mostly with milk and spices. (Known here as chai) Chai just means Tea in Urdu and Hindi lol. SO is you say "Chai Tea" ur saying "Tea Tea"

Chai for me has to be home made because you cannot get the original taste from mixes or powders. You just HAVE to do it the long way. I got the recipe from my Mother in law who is from pakistan. If you would like I can post the recipe here. I'd be more than happy to.

I also drink Iced tea, which is also black, ESPECIALLY in the summer.

My green teas I have so many of:

Gunpowder (my all time favorite)
Sencha ( very strong)
kukicha
Green Tea w/ spices
These are the main ones I drink, but have many more.

My Oolong list is short: Just Jasmine.

I drink lots of herbal tea, especially for medicinal purposes. Like upset stomach, congeston and to help me sleep.

At home I usually drink oolong or orange pekoe. At the moment, I'm enjoying a glass of oolong with pieces of peach as iced tea. At work I usually drink black tea with lemon, or Earl Grey. We have several kinds of green tea, which my husband drinks at times, but which I find too bitter, and herbal or fruit teas, which I don't like at all.

On the subject of green tea, the FDA doesn't accept the health benefits claimed: http://edition.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/d....ap/index.html
