Head Butting

I was wondering as to why my cat crawls up on my stomach and gives me a head butt and procceds to rub his face on to mine.

Head-butting is one of the greatest compliments your kitty can give you...he's marking you with his scent, and claiming you as "his." This is a tremendous gesture of affection in the cat world!!!

Baker loves pouncing on plastic bags, something about the sound just makes him crazy (under supervision of course)

My cat Mew loves plastic bags too. She licks them, lays on them, pounces them, and sleeps in them. I guess it's normal. Well, it's normal for her anyway!

Um, I don't think there's a cat in the world who doesn't love plastic bags

if i had a normal cat there would be something wrong. Mine loves to EAT twist ties. (we have to put them in a sandwhich bag and then in the trash can or she will pull them out and eat them) she loves to play with anything that looks like a string. or will bat at your pant leg when you walk by. She will also head but my leg and then rub against it.

she is weird but i would not have her any other way

Cats love plastic bags because they are often made with fish oils and they find the scent and the noise very attractive. Be careful though and never leave a cat alone with one - some cats will eat them and that is dangerous. Also they can get them twisted round their necks
