Hey there everyone!

Hi! How is everyone doing? I just wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes. John brought me copies of everyone's posts about the baby after I was in the hospital. It was a great thing to read while I was stuck in bed.

I am doing ok - still have some pain and a little problem with my incision, but overall I am doing well. Derek is a little sweet pea! Unfortunately he has his days and his nights mixed up. He sleeps all day and stays awake much of the night. He is getting a bit better. Overall he is a good baby. He is quiet and cute (if I do say so myself). His brother seems to love him - all Kevin wants to do is kiss the baby all the time. I never get Kevin Kisses anymore!

Kevin is adjusting well. He has a few separation issues, especially when John leaves the room. But he is doing much better at night now that John is putting him down instead of me.

The cats have sniffed the baby a little, but overall ignore him. They are more interested in fending off Kevin's loving affection.

I will try to visit as often as possible, but I don't think I will be on line as much now as when I was at work. But I will be around.

Hope everyone is doing well! I miss you guys!

Oh, what a precious picture! My boys are 6 and 17 now, and they just aren't very sweet anymore. Although your days will be hectic (and the nights, too from the sound of it), enjoy this time with your babies!

I hope your pains go away soon as your body heals!

Glad to hear from you Ady! I was just wondering when you would be back. I hope you heal well & that little Derek figures out the difference between day & night. Maybe all of the Kevin Kisses are confusing him....

How old are they both now? I have a 2 year old, and would like to have another baby before mine gets too old. I would like them to be the same in age. But Im scared it would be hard. I give you a big hug in being able to do this! Great job, and Good Luck!

Glad you're back Ady. Having raised two boys, I can tell you to enjoy the honeymoon phase - they'll be fighting soon enough
