Well hears the deal my daughters kitty had her babies 2 days ago outside but she had them in really bad location and just couldn't stay there with them. So I moved them into a room in the house but I think it really upset her cause she just left them in there alone. She nursed them last night and when I got home from school this morning I found her carrying her dead babies out of room. So I think sometime last night she killed them and I don't know why. I have 3 other mommas besides her getting ready to have kitties (oh no) lol. Is it normal for her to do that if she feels stressed maybe. I feel bad because I think it was my fault but had no other choice to move them or the would have gotten killed by somthing. I don't want to make the same mistake again with the other kitties. So guess I have to tell my daughter when she gets home from school.
If anyone might know what to do in this situation I could really use some help.

Sometimes a mother cat will kill her kittens if there is something wrong with them.
I doubt it is because you moved them....usually they will just move them again to another location if they don`t like where you have put them. (It is natural for them to want to hide them....they are just protecting them for being found by a preditor....usually the male cats that mated with them....the males will often kill the kittens if they find them so that the momma will go back into heat.)
I`d suggest taking the momma to the vet and get her checked out...esp for feline luekemia. Kittens being born dead, or the momma killing them CAN be a sign of something being wrong. If she would test positive then any other cats you have could have or get it too. (If they are taken care of and don`t get injured so that they get infections...including NOT having any more kittens...they can live for quite awhile tho...it`s not the same a luekemia in people) This may not be the problem...and I don`t mean to scare you....and others may have another idea or suggestion....but that is just what came to mind with me.

Please have her spayed. She probably was stressed or there was something wrong with her kittens...in any event...this should be her last litter.

As far as your other 3 pregnant cats go...keep them indoors only from now until they have weaned their kittens. Cats can get pregnant again a week after giving birth and unless you are a breeder, we highly recommend you have your cats spayed. It is healthier for them as there is a higher chance of cancer and pyometra when a female is left intact.

If you live on a farm...there are plenty of rescue groups that have strays or feral cats that need homes. You would be saving lives.

If you need a low cost clinic to take your girl to, I have provided a link below:

Additionally, if you have a bunch of strays...you can contact a local TNR group about getting these cats spayed/neutered:

I think I will take her to the vet. Sally herself is still a kitten I found her on the side of the road last fall when she was a baby. Then my sister gave me her two kittens (sadie and boots) when she moved and couldn't take them. So I am conserned that they too will do the same thing as they are due anyday now too.. My other cat (fat cat) is due also real soon but she is older then the kittens. Would she eat them if she felt they were in danger? I have 2 dogs in the house not to mention my 3 kids and it can get really noisey around here will all the animals and kids. I hoping that the other three will not do this.

Unfortunately there is no way to guarentee this doesn't happen...however I want to make a couple of suggestions. First, each mom should have her own "space" (hopefully her own room...but with 3 of them...one room is better than nothing) where she can have her kittens in peace. You want to set each of them up with a birthing box, litter and food (they should all be eating kitten food now) and water. This should be a room that doesn't have a lot of traffic...so a spare bedroom or a bathroom is best....just some place where the dogs are not allowed. The idea is not to stress these mothers out. I'm assuming these were indoor/outdoor cats and became pregnant by an outdoor cat....with that situation, all best are off regarding the health of the kittens..but let's hope the rest of your cats deliver successfully and do keep a number available of your vet in case there are any issues. For now let try to make these cats as comfortable as possible, keep them inside only, give them plenty of good nutrition and keep posting here if you have any additional questions.

I do think that Sally is best to be seen by a vet and spayed at this time.

Oh, that is so sad! I am sorry for your losses. As for telling your daughter, i think you should just be very frank and let her know that sometimes animals will kill their babies if they feel they are in danger, or not healthy. Let her know you will do everything possible to ensure her kitty will not get pregnant again.

Keep her inside only for now, until she can be spayed, or she will get pregnant again right away, and the next litter may be a problem as well. Keep the other pregnant kitties inside until they have their babies in safety. Once the kittens are 8-10 weeks old, the Momma cats can be spayed, and then if you decide to let them outside again, at least they won't be getting pregnant.

Well after a close examination of Sally we have found out that she didn't produce any milk for her babies. Wish one of other 3 would have had their babies maybe I could have had a foster mother for Sally's babies. But guess that is nature. As for other three my oldest cat I belive is in labor. She keeps meowing at me and won't leave my couch. Hopefully she will got her room and not have these babies on my couch...lol So now I sit here next to her waiting patiently for new babies. will keep every one posted on babies
