For starters I would *totally* keep him off the bed. If he does it every time he's becoming accustomed to it and you want to break that cycle, especially since you're introducing the litter box.

Second, if you feel you must have him on the bed or other furniture or even on your lap where he'll be tempted to pee, go to a thrift shop and look for a few waterproof crib sheets which should only set you back a dollar or two. These are soft pads with a plastic liner which you can use as a barrier between kitten and whatever. Trust me, it's much easier to wash the waterproof pad then then all of the bedding.

Are you bringing him to bed with you for long periods in the night? If he sleeps long 8-10 hour stretches the chances are very high that he will pee in the night until he has more control.

Have you stimulated him OVER the litter box? Also, what litter do you use? Maybe he doesn't like it. (sorry if you've said it before, my memory is just shot, LOL.)

Stimulating him over the box is a good idea...

And I would really keep him confined at this age in a smaller room where he has easy access to the box, such as a bathroom. This will not give him the option of using your bedding. If you want to take him out of his room to snuggle on the bed or whatever, only do so for short periods of time. Be patient!
