Im so guilty!

I feel terrible saying this but I just love playing with my cats sooooooo much. I sometimes play pranks on them...........nothing bad, NEVER violent, but I have hidden mechanical mice, popped out of the corner, snuck up behind them while they are busy concentrating on something.

Does this make me a terrible person!!!!!!????!!!!!!

I lovemy cats, they are spoiled rotten and they get plenty of TLC, but its fun to watch them jump and get all excited every now and then.

Nah...I don't think you're terrible! If your cat's are like mine, they enjoy it! I go behind a door and meow, and wait for one of mine to come looking, then reach my hand out at them! They jump up in the air and take off flying. Then it's my turn to be surprised....kind of like kittie hide-n-seek. We have a blast here!!

Lol I've pranked Jack Daniels!

There was a time when I had my cell phone plugged into the charger and the chord was way across the room while I was chatting on it and it was plugged into one of those three way adapters. Well Jack Daniels was curious about what was moving under the desk so he was creeping up on it and I just suddenly jerked it, he JUMPED! He poofed out and JUMPED it was HILARIOUS!!

i prank bonnie all the time! she loves it....i think

usually i wait until she's concentrating on something and i sneak up behind her, she seriously jumps a metre into the air sometimes and she lets out a little cry of surprise followed by a glare. once she jumped so high she actually flipped over, Jeff and i just sat there in astonishment, i would have never beleived she could do that lol.

i also get her on the stairs, she will be coming down the and i hide underneith and grab her leg, she usually runs up the stairs looking indignant.

i prank pandy on the stairs too, i hide and then peek through the stairs at her, when she starts coming my way i duck and when she gets close enough i jump up and she either runs or bats me with her paw. she loves to play on them too and i stick the tip of my finer out and she attacks it lol

i also prank them when i'm in bed, i make my foot move and bonnie gets all spooky and comes to investigate, then i move my foot suddenly and she jumps in the air, pandy doesn't though, she just attacks my foot, she actually jumps straight into the air and lands on my foot with all four paws, it's hilarious
bonnie attacks sometimes too but she tends to grab my whole foot and try to roll around with it.

i don't think your mean at all.....bonnie wakes me up every morning for breakfast by pawing my arm and kissing me so fairs fair

bonnie actually gets spooked a lot and i always know when it's happening because she lowers her body, sticks her nose out and walks really slowly towards whatever has her interest, usually something she hasn't seen before or a peice of clothing.

Yep. Eli and I were playing with Toulouse and Kanoe on the bed last night witha mouse on a string. Toulou was sitting on Eli's foot, so he waited till Toulou was distracted and then poked him in the belly (gently). Toulouse jumped SO high!!!
It's pretty funny when we manage to surprise them. They do it to us too, by hiding behind doors or in the shower!

yah... KC's great to sneak up on!
Shermie and I'll play peekaboo though. He'll be off in the hall and all I have to do is poke my head up over the couch then back down really quick. He slowly slinks over to me... his pupils get HUGE and he comes over to the couch and will pounce on my right as I peek over!
I scream every time!

bonnie's pupils get huge too, i wonder why that happens.

sometimes i wonder what they think of us silly humans, the looks i get from bonnie sometimes are priceless, it's like she's thinking 'what's she up to now? oh well, i'd better go humor her...again'

glad Im not alone!!

I think the hardest laugh I've had is when they were kittens, U know how curious kittens are. I swear it was on accident (the 1st time) chiclet was near my leg then I moved it while I let out a little scream.........
He jumped SO high and did the "sideways" and puffed out. SO after that I did it to everyonw when they were babies, and now that Sango is here for a couple of weeks Im having fun.......and so are they

No it doesn't make you a bad person.....

When my cats are stocking something and moving very slow, I will sometimes make a loud noise, which causes them to jump up really high....its funny...

Last night I pranked Sibohan, when I turned on the shower the looked around the shower curtain and I just gave her a little shove into the shower, she didn't get vary wet at all the nozle was pointed the other way but she was spinning her wheels going around the corner and then gave me a disgusted look like "you B*&%" it was so funny. You have to keep life interesting for youself and them *smile*

My Ginger stalks me ALL the time, so I started stalking her as well! I get down and hide behind something, then when she heads my way I jump out and yell, "Boo!" She jumps about a foot into the air and runs away, then we do it all over again!
I can almost hear her giggling, she has so much fun with it!

I used to play pranks on my children, I'd sneak into their room while they'd be cleaning their teeth, and hadn't noticed me coming upstairs. I'd hide and jump out on them. Among other things.
. It's a family tradition, my mum did it to me, and hers did it to her.

Same here, I'll do it to Luna or Whitey.

If Luna's in the Window and gets distracted cause another cat walked in, I'll start looking out the window and say "*gasp* what's that! Look! Look!" Even though nothings there. She'll turn to look.

Last night with Whitey he was sitting on the chair next to me cleaning himself so I tapped underneath the chair. He immediately went into play mode. Plus he totally falls for the pretend throwing of the ball.
