Well Shreky just went to the regular litter box and kept digging for about 5 mins. I have put her in her delivery room.
I do have a little litter box in there. Should I take it out so she doesn't have the babies in the litter or leave it alone?

Lisa....I had a foster mom in my bathroom...and I had a nesting box (with a nice pillow in it), a full sized litterbox and her food and water all in that one room and it was fine. You will want to change over your cats food from cat food to kitten food and I would also change out her litter if you are using clumping litter to a clay litter or a biodegradible one such as feline pine as you don't want the babies to accidentally ingest clumping litter as they get older.

She has been on kitten food for a while now but I didn't know about the litter. I will take care of it today. I just hope she doesn't deliver in it.

an ice cube in Iowa...
Oh, believe me, it will, and in short order!!!

I would add a nesting box (probably right as we're speaking) with some clean soft towels that you don't mind ruining. She'll probably be more inclined to deliver there than in the litter pan, as long as she feels like the space offered is safe and private.

She has her nesting box in there with her. Its my closet. lol Nesting box, water, kitten food, and litter box with correct litter. I've had it set up for about 2-3 weeks now.

I had a dream last night she gave birth laying on her back with all four paw straight up in the air. It all seemed so normal. I think I read somewhere here were someone was worried because thier baby was laying like that. lol

Still nothing as of this morning.

My friend's persian queen tried to have her kittens in her litter pan so we just put puppy housebreaking pad on top of the litter & kept an eye on her, she did deliver 1 in there, but it didn't get in the litter, we then moved her & baby to the nest where she delivered the last one. maybe an idea? lol
