Hi, My father in law has a stray cat he takes care of. It showed up last year at there house. It is a small female, very nice little kitty who loves people.
This is the sad part, Anyway it had kittens a little while ago, and something got to the kittens and killed them all. {its a outdoor cat} She had the kittens in there garage, I am guessing maybe a male cat got to them, or maybe a rat? I don't know if rats kill other animals.
Now the funny part, The mom cat found and brought home three little baby bunny rabbits that she is trying to raise as her kittens. Which I thought was really strange and there is probably one ticked off mom bunny rabbit some place. I hope the cat didn't kill the mom rabbit to take the babys.
I have never heard of such a thing before, is this normal for a mom cat to do? Is there any chance the bunnys will make it feeding from a cat? I got to get pictures of this if the bunnys are still there later today.
This story is for real, My wife has seen the cat with the baby rabbits. I have not been over there yet to see it.
Has anyone else ever seen such a thing?
