I'm home from work and I thought it'd never end! I've had the day from

and I've just about given up.
I found out that a friend had a child die yesterday any vibes for him and his family would be really appreciated. She was only 2 years old and apparently choked on vomit in her sleep. My manager said now my deaths are complete because they come in 3's. NOT what I wanted to hear about then!
This was the start of my bad day. I found out that one of my workers went home sick and the others were mad and so all night they were angry and pissy so that made the whole night just fantastic.

Then we had ducks in our drive thru and so we called the humane society and they took the river so they wouldn't be killed on the busy street by our shop, but daddy duck shows up 3 hours after making me feel horrible even though I KNOW I did the right thing. Then Brad yells at me about money when I get home. Can my day get worse!?
Sorry I just needed to vent. I know you all would be understanding.
Now I'm working on a good drunk. Because I need it. Pretty pathetic huh?

I'm having one of those today. I have decided I'm going to leave early to keep from hurting someone. They have changed some of the policies here in the office which REALLY tick me off
.
For instance, they are saying we are only allowed to take 2 smoke breaks a day and we dont even take a lunch. Im here 9+hours a day and talk to one snotty customer after another, deal with installers, welders and sewers who all walk with an attitude and they want us to only have 2 smoke breaks... they are out of thier minds!
Then they say no cell phone use during hours. Ok, I'll just have my calls come in on the business line and tie it up from now on. There are SOME things that I have to take care of during business hours that I don't think is the WHOLE office's business so I go outside FOR A CIGARETTE on my CELL phone....
Sorry didn't mean to

That is completely awful for your friend to have a child die, I am certainly praying for her and her family. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I'm sorry about your rough day...hopefully things will be better for you tomorrow.
Don't worry about venting, I think everyone vents on this site

I am sorry you had such a rough go of it. I hope it is much better now! I understand, last night was the second night in a row I haven't slept AT ALL. I had four finals today and while studying around 5am in the upper level quiet floor of the library, about 15 people showed up for a study group thing. They sat next to me and they were loud and obnoxious and with my lack of sleep I almost went right off the deep end. I had to go grab some coffee and detox before I hurt someone today. Now, I am done. Woohoo. I am going to get some sleep now!

Having a child die must be one of the most horrible things to endure. I'll pray for them to be strong during this sad time. Makes my little problems seem very tiny in comparison.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I was having a really rough day (and night) yesterday. (still am but at least I'm not at work)
I didn't get to drunk though. Just enough to make me sleep for awhile.
No headaches this am thankfully. I just needed to vent and I knew you all would understand.
The loss of Brians child is terrible and I just feel so helpless being so far away from him, and venting was my only escape at the time. I wish we could be there for him, but this unfortunately is impossible as our work places won't let us off.
You all are the best and I
the fact that I can tell you what's happening in my life, good or bad, and you'll understand and support me! You all are fantastic!!!!!
Thank you all!!!! you're the best!
