My girls have been at it today! A minute or two after I got out of the shower today I hear this bang/crash noise at one of the windows. I stepped out of the bathroom to find Noodles clinging to the mini-blinds! I mean she was 3 slats from the top. I still don't know where she jumped from.

Then a few minutes later hear another noise and find Mooch next to the fish tank, and the filter is half in and half out of the tank! Fortunately the half that was out was resting on the lid so water was not running out of the tank. But there was some around the light fixture when I found it that way AGAIN when I got home from work today!

They have been shooed off the counters like 4 times today too. I haven't had to do that since they were small! What is up with these two!?!

Any ideas how to keep them from moving the filter on my fish tank? I can take a pic of my setup if that might be helpful.

Photo would be good. i have the same thing but with my iguana doing it. My cat just sits on the chair and bats at them through the glass. Can you move the fliter to the middle of the tank, or you can put a large box over the filter and tape it down so they cant move the filter. Maybe some lemon juice or chili peper around there so if they lick their paw they will get a really bad taste and place the not so nice taste with the fish tank and leave it alone.... dont know if this will help

What you can do is duck tape the bottom of the filter to the back of the tank and then place a strip around the middle of the filter to make it so they can not push it up or out of the tank. or like is said try a box around it and then tape that to the tank.

Try this and see if it helps.

Twitch beats up my filter just to get to the fresh water. I resolved this problem by putting her water fountain right by the fishtank. I don't know if tha will work for your two, though.

Just think of how boring life would be without them!

Try dabbing some orange extract aroiund the area. The smell of the orange and alcohol might discourage them from, shall we say, "trying to choose their lobster dinner from the tank."

I have a top over the tank so I sprayed it with the bitter apple. SO far the puppy stays away and Skittles isn't interested. I might try the Orange stuff
