Not strictly a cat but a catfish

Our newest addition to the family. Not quite what we thought we were buying, he was labelled in the shop as a Jaguar plec but has since been identified as a Vampire Plec so the only name he could have is Angel

He looks like a gold nugget plec to me, though possibly the common names differ there.

Gorgeous, I love pleccos

I see what you mean Arlyn about him looking like a Gold Nugget. Gold Nuggets are Baryancistrus, Vampire plecs are leporacanthicus. Here is a piccy of our Nuggety.

Angel is in one of our 5ft tanks. Pete also bought a glyptoperichthys joselimainus or, much easier to pronounce
, Bagpuss ! But he is sooo tiny it is difficult to get a good shot of him.

Wow, your nugget is tiny if those tetras behind him are any indication

Very beautiful pleccos, not often you find other people that enjoy them for what they are, and not simply buy them as nothing more than janitorial workers.

3 of our tanks are specifically set up for our plec*s. We do have tetras and barbs as well but the plec*s are the main priority.

They eat better than we do

Great picture! Is he eating a slice of cougette?!!

I hope you can get a picture of Bagpuss (not even going to attempt to say the name!!) I tried to search for a picture but couldn't find one!

You must have a huge house to fit all these big tanks!! It must be so relaxing to watch them though!
