I had Momma in a dog bed inside a open animal carrier in the corner of the room so she felt safe and she's been happy there for almost 2 weeks until last night when she moved all the babies under the bed in that room.... so I moved the dog bed under there and put the babies in there thinking she must have had a good reason for moving them.... was I right to do that?? and is the dog bed OK, because the kittens look like they might be able to get out of the bed now, should I put them in a box with a higher side?
THANKS!

Jenn...I think the dog bed should be ok...the one thing you want to be aware of is that these little ones will start exploring and with a low sided bed..they are likely to get out of the dog bed more often. I would just keep an eye on the situation.
