I live in Rochester NY in a 2 bedroom apartment.
I have to somehow prepare myself for Thursday night when I go to the Vet with Loco to know if I should let him go then or not. He is just a year old and the most wonderful sweet and funny orange cat in the world. I can't believe that he just got so sick like this. The article on Google about his eye condition said all of the reasons cats get this that are not trauma related are life threatening. All the big ones us cat lovers fear are listed and a couple I never heard of before. Do I want to wait until he is sick and suffering, or do I just want to end his wonderful life now. I have to go and hold him for awhile.

The best thing is to let the vet have a look and get his/her advice on it before making any decisions.

I always advise against googling symptoms because they can usually get your mind going into overdrive when it doesn't need to.

Let us know what the vet says though.

What is wrong with your cats eye?

If your cat is not in pain or suffering and has life left in him, make him comfortable and cherish the time you have left with him. Hopefully it is something that can be treated by your vet.

Your cat will let you know when it's time to let go. This is the hardest decision I have ever faced each time this has happened to me.

Sending healing prayers to you and your special cat

I'm adding more {{{prayers & vibes}}} for healing for your cat. And I concur that a vet visit is in order - cats can & will hide an incredible amount of suffering (if they showed distress, predators would move in on them) - don't be afraid, now is the time for courage and strength - no matter what happens, you have TCS to turn to. Your little orange one depends on you to take care of him! I'll keep you in my prayers & thoughts.

P.S. I have to go out of town for 9 days, but will check for updates when I return. Until then, hugs & prayers
