Morning everyone!

It's a bit overcast here today - even though the forecast said it would be glorious!

Hopefully I will finally manage to get my tomatoes and strawberries planted up as they are really coming on well - but the pots are way too small right now!

I hope everyone's day has started well and the rest follows!

Good evening Sarah!

I've just come to spend some time on TCS before I continue writing my English speech then I might do some Vietnam War notes and then it's off to bed.

It's freezing here right now but I get to sleep in tomorrow since it's Wednesday!

Grey skies and dull weather here too today. I have to go into the office in a bit, let the rush hour subside first.

Then, later on, we're taking daughter out for a dinner in the city where she's at Uni. I think she forgot her mobile phone accidentally on purpose so we would have to drive over to see her

Morning everyone! I'm back in my normal RUBBISH office today and I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have helped the other office out because it's just made me realise how much I hate this place. The whispering and back stabbing is so not me. Got to do something about this...
Anyhoo! Apart from that, we had a lazy night last night. Did any of you UKers watch that thing on channel 5 'Larger than life'?

Evening, Sam! I hope you are enjoying your TCS time before you get back to the grind stone! What is your English speech about?

Morning, Beth! I certainly don't blame you for letting the traffic die down first - such a boring drive during rush hour! I hope you have a great meal with your daughter - it definitely does sound like an accidentally on purpose plan!

Morning, Lauren! Sorry you have to be back in your normal office again now Remember that you can always chat behind their backs on here, so it'll get it off your chest!

Morning, Susan!

I believe your weather is going to be similar to here today - so the radio report said!

What was the programme about? I didn't see it!!
The programme was about 'Super morbidly obese' people. You have never seen anything like it. It was actually really sad, that they just don't seem to have any control over their eating. I felt pretty slim watching it.

I am definitly enjoying it. Heaps of interesting threads since I last logged in.

My english speech is on my family Christmas traditions. It's got to be four minutes and include a visual aid.

I'm sure it'll be repeated, so I'll have to check it out!

That's cool!

Seems an odd time of year to give a presentation on Christmas Traditions, but it is an interesting subject! It's always good to have visuals too, as people tend not to notice any mistakes if you happen to make any!
(Not that you'll make any, Sam! )

It's got to be about our culture, beliefs or something like that and I'm a kiwi, I'm atheist. It was hard. It's more or less "December 25th" hmm it will surely be interesting.

What a beautiful morning!!, the sun is shining and it's supposed to go up to 22 C today!

Today I'm going to be helping out at the old school I used to work at to make some extra money. So I better start getting ready for work!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning guys!
It's a little rainy here this morning, which is good because we need all the rain we can get. Florida is in a drought right now and we are having problems with fires around the state.
I have been at work for about 30 minutes now. It should be a fairly quiet day today and then tonight I need to work on my Medical Terminology

Good morning everyone

Its another rainy gloomy day here today - but its not cold - HUMID! ICK! That does horrible things to my hair!

Didn't do much last night, came home and ran some errands with John and then made supper and hung out with him and printed out some pictures to hang in my bathroom.

Got a call from my mom last night, saying that they are bringing my Grandpa over to Rochester tomorrow for some tests, as he is having shortness of breath again and some chest pains when he is on his feet walking too much. So... I'll probly be heading over there to be with my Grandma tonight. Any prayers would be much appreciated.

I was planning on going to the YMCA tonight to work out (I havent been there for a week! ) - but if my Grandpa has to stay in the hospital, I'll be there with them instead - hopefully he will be in and out for a checkup and no overnight stays

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!

A bit rainy this morning.!!
About the super morid obese people-my BIL is 5 ft 8" but weighed 330. He has had the stomach reduction surgery twice!! The 2nd time insurance didn't cover it $40,000!!! This time he has lost about 80 lbs but its a eating struggle for him.

I have aa breakfast meeting in 55 minutes!! THen off the an appt, back to do some bookwork then a entrepenuer event from 3-9.

Vibes for Wednesday as I start laying the 18" paver stones on a project. They weigh 55# each and I have 55 total to due. Looking forward to whirlpool already!!

It's gray and gloomy here also. We are supposed to have rain for the next few days. I potted up the rest of the hanging plants I bought yesterday and finally took a pic for you Sarah:

I really love the color combination.

I still have to get the vegetables in, but it's still a week too early for the tomatoes.

I have a cleaning appointment at the dentist this morning. After that, grocery shopping, and them maybe finally hanging the curtains I bought for the dining room.

I hope everyone has a great day.

I have been trying to plan my summer pots for the front and think I might pinch your colour idea!

I really haven't managed to get around to planting up much - yet - as I'm still attempting to scarify the lawn!! Two boxes and two bags of dead moss so far!

Afternoon everyone!

I slept until 2pm today, unfortunate really as I was meant to be at work at 9am...

I am feeling much better this afternoon though! Last night my throat was really sore and swollen and I had a temperature and felt dizzy. Was scared that I had glandular fever as my brothers best friend has just been hospitalised with it.

Feeling better now but not 100% well so guess I just had a virus.

My friend whose a Doc said to just have lots of fluids, sleep and paracetamol so I should be fine by tomorrow!

Why did I just today figure out that there are more smileys? LOL...
Karen, you did a great job with the colors!!! Could you fly down for a weekend to help me!!
Good morning all! Karen, what beautiful flowers!! WOW! I got mine in and planted this weekend. Plus my garden too! Glad that's over with! Now I just get to sit back and watch the fruits of my labor grow!
Eek way to cold for veg garden but I see people buying tomato plants. Its going to dip into lower 30's for a few nights this week. I usually plant my veg garden Memorial day weekend which the rototiller had better be fixed by then!!
That is also when I do my containers and my clients containers. So far I have to do about 40!! Going plant shopping Thursday. DH and I are taking road trip to the Flower Factory which is south of Madison, WI They sell over 4000 yes that is correct 4000 of perennials!!! I'll have to restrain myself!!
I can't take credit for the color of the flowers, I bought them like that. I'm now going to do the rest of the pots and my wreath based on those colors.
Afternoon everyone! I wish I could plant some flowers! I have a black thumb causing all my flowers to die right after I get them. Oh well at least I can have some cat grass and cat nip, they will grow for me!
It's wet and rainy here. Yuck! I'm late for work so I better go now.
