One of my foster cats has a scab in her ear, and one tiny scab in each corner of her mouth.
She also has a tiny scab on her back.

I have treated her for ring worm in the past but these don't look like ring worm.

They just look like scabs, and they all seem to be healing.

I guess they could be scratch marks - we have a full house of 7 and there's a lot of rough housing most days. I'm just a little concerned that these could be symptoms of something else...

any opinions from anyone would be appreaciated.

Because of the location, my guess would be that she was playing rough with her housemates. I would probably just keep an eye on them and take her in if they change for the worse. If you're concerned, you may want to call your vet to get their opinion.

yeah- you're probably right.

the ones on the lip have healed over... and there's no hair loss on the one on her back so it's more than probably not ring worm....

phew!

i just can't afford an outbreak of some skin disease at the moment - i may have the resources to deal with it but time is another issue
