Hi Everyone,
For those of you who do remember me and those who don't I have a cat named Pickle who back in the fall of 2004 was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Just for those who didn't know, he underwent a total ear ablation (hope I spelled that right), as I know from reading here that most cats get this terrible disease on there noses, his was in his ear. So they removed what they saw and unfortuately he is deaf in one ear, (although shake his can of treats and you wouldn't know he was deaf). At any rate I am EXTREMELY HAPPY to say Pickles is still here with us
I am in total awe, as I know people who have lost there cats due to this disease, andI know people who have not survived cancer, I Thank God everyday that he spared Pickles. He is still running around the house and keeping us busy. We now just take him for his rabie shots, as he gets very upset when we take him out, so I just avoid the stress by doing so. I would like to "Thank" everyone who sent there prayers and there warm thoughts they have helped so much. We are not sure where or if the cancer is still there, but I am told it most likely is in his system, but he has fought the odds and even the vet was surprised to see how well he was doing. He is truly one of the great miracles in my life. I celebrate his life everday. So again "Thank" you all from Pickles and his family. We will keep in touch.
Bless you all.
