8 yr. old cat has stopped meowing?

Hey guys,

I'm a little worried about my cat. She's almost 8 years old and for some reason she's not meowing all of the sudden. About a month ago, I think she somehow hurt her back or back legs because she was hunching slightly and couldn't sit down. She rested inside a lot and gradually got better, but she's still not fully recovered. Tonight, she wouldn't meow to come in, and instead just stared at me from outside. Then when she did come in, she wouldn't meow when I offered her milk, a time when she always meows. Any ideas?

Did she see a veterinarian after the injury?
You say "she's still not fully recovered", so ruling out pain via a vet check would of course be my very first recommendation.

Please take her to a vet! There might be something very wrong with her.
