Does anyone else do this? Tiki has had a little bit of diarrhea and I like to wipe his bottom when he is done. Are baby wipes safe for this?? I have just been using a wet paper towel and it is not doing the trick....THanks!

I'm always a little concerned about baby wipes because they were made for human babies and not cats. I know there are bath wipes for cats that are available in petstores..but make sure you read the label to ensure they are safe for your little one.

First of all find out WHY he's having problems - a cat should not have constant diarraha.

In the mean time, I'd use a warm washcloth. If you use the baby wipes - be sure they are unscented. Too much washing everytime he uses the pan will cause more problems.

Take him to a vet and get him checked out - then you won't have to worry about wiping him.

Diarrhea can be caused by worms.

Try offering a tiny bit of plain or vanilla yogurt or pumpkin. That often helps with diarrhea. But the cat shouldn't be having any at all. Try to find out why it is occurring.
