My cat had her kittens 4-13 and ever since then they have been in my empty closet. They all are doing fine growing and walking all around. However just now the mama cat took one and moved it to another room where its not safe with everyone walking around. I did put the kitten back and the mama didnt do anything started nursing them again. Why did she move it? Should I be worried? Is this normal? Any advice? Thanks

Melissa...did she try to move any others or just that one?? If she tries it again....keep an eye to see if she is only moving the one or if she is moving the entire litter. If it is only that one...it could be a sign that something is wrong with the kitten and she is trying to get it away from the others...however if she is trying to move the entire litter, then she may have felt they were in danger and tried to find them another location. Since she is now nursing them all in the closet, I would keep an eye on the situation as it could have been an isolated incident.
