Can ya believe that people are breeding all sorts of dogs(hybrid, they call them) I mean they are cute, but what will they think of next?

I am slightly stuck for a word to describe that - fancy trying to breed dogs that look like existing breeds or will be easy to look after - but people will buy them, so they will continue to breed. While dogs will continue to either stay in shelters, or be pts.

People should check out the rescue centres, there's plenty of dogs that look like these. You could make up your own name for what they look like.

I find their descriptions interesting. When you try to adopt a purebred dog, you always read about their shortcomings. These dogs apparently have no shortcomings at all! (Right!)

I can see some mixes, like we grew up with german shepard/lab mixes. (Of course, I think that is just what everyone called full sized mongrels!) And I can see mixing a dog with poodle, to remove some of the shedding. But the way people are breeding two dogs, most likely of poor quality, for a high priced mixed breed dog annoys me! I have never been the type to want a high priced purebred...but may end up with one when I am ready to add another dog to my family.
