One of my cats likes to eat plants. We have a new decorative grass, not toxic although it will make him puke, and he loves it.

- i sprayed it with Bitter Apple and he thought that added to the taste - yummy.

- i made a home made spray made of bitter apple, tobasco sauce, and bitters, (i tasted it and thought YUCKY!) and that seemed to have little to no affect.

Does anyone know of a safe and effective repellant i can spray on my plants and that wont hurt the plants?

Hiya, we had this same problem, asked around at all the vets and garden centres, but nothing helps (most sprays are toxic as you know ) I couldnt tell if you meant plants in the house or garden ? My cat only ate plants in the house, so only cure for us was to move the plants somewhere out of reach.

Maybe your cat is eating the dec.grass as a subsitute for normal grass, cos he has fur balls ?? what do ya thing ? any evidence in the puke ??

Good luck with your quest
