Stinky Urine! How long after neutering....

will my male cat's urine smell strongly? He is 2 years old and I just got him neutered yesterday. I don't know if he sprays or not (he was only in my house one night before neutering), but the urine smell was so strong in the morning. He was caged all night, so he could only have gone in the cage.
How long will it be before his urine loses the male hormone smell???

It can take anywhere from a few days to a few months for the smell to dissapear. It takes ahwile for the hormones to balance out.
