This morning I was playing with Jordan. I threw a mouse up in the air above my bed. He jumped up smacked it & off the bed it went flying, followed very closely by Jordan. Well somehow he managed to get his foot caught between the mattress & the foot board. Well he landed on 3 feet & instantly started hissing. He walked aroudn for about 10 minuets refusing to use that paw. I let him calm down a little went over to him & touched his paw. Stood him up & had him try to walk on it, he sort of did but was still favoring it. So I moved it around & he seemed OK, but I didn't want to leave right away just incase. Well after another 20 minuets (good thing I got up early this morning) he was jumping up on the bed again & up on the cat tree to get in the window. So I'm preety sure he's OK, but is there any chance he hurt himself bad enough that I should have taken him to the vet?

If your never completely sure it's always good to go to a vet at least for a peace of mind.

My cats only have about 5 lives left each because they've had some many little accidents like that, I've learned that if they can put weight on a paw or limb and there's no blood and they are acting normal that there is a good chance they are okay.

If it really hurt your kitty would most likely be favoring it.

I hope this helped somewhat...
