I'm saddened and confused by Nermal's behaviour lately. She's usually very loving and affectionate, but lately whenever I try giving her attention, she freaks out and runs away from me. I don't if it's because she has the siamese Lily with her, and has decided that she doesn't need us, though she does let my bf giver her attn without a problem. I don't know what I've done wrong.
Of course, as with any behavior changes, you do want to rule out a medical reason first.
Luna got like that when B and i moved in together (with his 2 cats) and again when we got Whitey a few weeks ago.
She probably just feels uncomfortable getting love in front of other cats. Maybe shows a sign of weakness to new cats? Don't worry though, the day will come when absolutely needs love and will come to you!

Has anything changed in her environment recently? How old is she? Is she spayed?
