Since we got Moose, our dog, Grissom has been being Mr Cranky pants. He is peeing, not spraying, on things. At first it was beside the litter box on the linoleum in our old place, then on my shoes. The peeing beside the litterbox was most freequent, the shoes were just once. I scrubbed and scrubbed, but didn't necessarily get all the odor out. Now we moved, about two weeks ago. And I thought the new place, without the odors would be good for him. Apparently not. He peed on the carpet outside his litter box closet, and then once more on a pillow that Moose slept on. He has been vet checked, and nothing there. It's all behavioural.

PLEASE HELP! The new landlady will not stand for this. I've scrubbed the floors, but to no avail. Will the Feliway make him mellow enough that he won't mind the addition of Mr. Moose? Or is there something more I should try? Putting something down doesn't work, because he will just go pee elsewhere, as he did at the other apt. At least now I know where he is peeing to clean it up, whereas if I put something down and he moves elsewhere I won't necessarily find it as quickly.

There's no place like home
2 of my cats went on a pee rampage when we got our puppies. It was mostly confined to their beds and kennels so easy to wash but annoying as heck. In my opinion, it's a territorial thing with perhaps a touch of jealousy. I gave the 2 cats lots of additional attention, changed the litter to Cat Attract, and controlled the puppies so they wouldn't terrorize the cats. Each thing I did helped a bit. It did take a while to stop the behavior but they finally all got it.
