Just observing that it's been pretty quiet around here during the day. Right now, Jeanie and I are the only ones here...
As much as I like talking with Jeanie, I was wondering where everyone else has been?

Y'all are going to make me actually do my job instead of hanging out here all day! :tounge2:

All right, Heidi, better get back to work; that is try to look busy while checking out new posts. Hey, how about a new word definition, a horse term for the alphabet game, or continue the new story on Paws and Reflect?

I guess I'm still not comfortable on this forum and don't feel like posting...

This is the first day in a long while I had to be away from my computer for more than 10 or 15 minutes. I've been researching and writing a grant, to get more funding for our lab. It can be really boring, so I've made myself a promise-read two or three articles or write a paragraph or two, and I can get on the net for 5 minutes. However, today we received a new piece of equipment (which is my pride and joy-I'm such a scientist nerd!) and I had the first day of training. NOw, the service engineer is gone, and I'm giving in to my Cat Site craving!

I'm here too but I just stopped to take a short break and see what was happening. I'm always busier during the warmer months and now I'm going outside to work in my garden for a while.

I know what you're saying about it being quiet here lately, maybe that's normal for this time of the year.
