My kitty Tiger is 18 years old, and im pretty sure her final days are coming soon. She is also getting very skinny , but constantly eats. She love the Purina 1 senior formula in the wet and dry food. The only problem with the dry food is that she has not front to chew it so she swallows it whole and then she gets sick. I was wondering if there was a soft dry food that she may like? Please let me know thanks!

When was kities last senior panel??? I ask cause many things stop chewing not all of them are teeth...

If kitty has had a senior in the last six months then try meow mix , fancy feast ... I like meow mix since most are very decent ingrediant wise ...

if you can get to a pet store look for these

Nutro ( salmon and shrimp chowder is a fave)

Authority ( Petsmart)

Pet Gold ( Petco)

Merrick

Solid Gold( tuna is awsome and the girls evan ate the blue can)

Blue spa

Natural balence

Innova

Evo ( the whole gang liked this one)

Evangers ( avoid the mackeral if fish disturb you)

Pro pac

Chicken soup

My senior is 17 and I was feeding him felidae until the formula changed but I switched him to Chicken Soup for the cat lovers soul. The pieces are smaller.
You could try mixing the dry food into the moist food too.

Any reasoin you don't stay with just the wet?

One thing I did with my Fuzz to give him some extra nutrition and taste was to put some dry food in the blender and make it unto crumbs, and mixed it in or sprinkled it on top of the wet, or even baby food (without onions).

What about something like Tender Vittles? I know it's not hte best food in the world, but it has all the vitamins, etc, they need and they seem to love it.

First I would get her checked by the vet to see why she is getting skinny.

You could just feed her wet food or add water to soften the dry.
