A thought I wanted to share ...

This was a sentiment that was inside a sympathy card I received from the cousin of someone who was very special to me, and who died a number of years ago. I have never forgotten it, and it has helped me though all the other losses in my life since then. It said,

Eventually we forget that they died.

And we begin to remember, instead, that they lived.

Thats so true!

That's a really good way of thinking about it!

That is vey true,I have been thinking about the heartbreaking way my little Bronny and Tammy died and wondering how i could have 'changed' things.

It is only now i am beginning to remember their lives and every day I remember something that I thought i had forgot,and in a way it is like having them 'come back'to me.
