Makes me miss Eagle River and Chugiak! But boy, I do not miss all that darkness! Enjoy the summer and watch out for those Alaska State Birds - they bite!
They fly in formation and have wing commanders- I used to use Skin-So-Soft to beat them off-

(for those of you who have no clue, I am talking about the Alaska pests mosquitos)

You had me fooled. I thought you were talking about real birds.

Lina, again, those pics are great. Having lived there 95% of your life, do you still see the beauty of Alaska??

Every day. When you drive up the road to walmart and BAM all you see is mountain over the top of the trees. The buildings shadowed. Everywhere you go its just.... wow.

Once a week or so my family goes on a drive. This summer will be awesome. Ill take pictures and post a link every time. And then all thsoe wish to be alaska terrorists i mean tourists can see it.

We call tourists terrorists, and theres a joke, if tourist season is open, why cant we hunt them?

Big joke people. We all hunt here. Yeah even ultra girly me. I can hunt.
Ill do alot of hiking back into the mountains, ill go to thunderbird falls, ill get into the waterfall ( again) and get pictures. hehe, its gonna be great, now that my son is old enough to enjoy it.

Im glad everyone else enjoys them too. I love to share. This is my home, and i dont think i could be anywhere else.

Wow, GORGEOUS pictures! Takes me right back. What part of AK do you live in?
We visited Anchorage, Fairbanks, Denali, Eklutna, Sitka, and Nome back in '95 and there is nowhere on earth that comes close to the beauty of Alaska!
