I currently have 11 kittens and two momma cats that I don't have any history on. I was wondering if anyone gives their own shots? Do you recommend it and is it really more affordable than say... Petco?

I have looked up the low cost clinics but I was just wondering if it would be even more affordable to give them myself. I don't want to hurt the babies but I could do it

I THINK you can order vaccinations from drsfostersmith.com but I could be wrong. I thought I saw them on there and you don't need a vet license to get them. It probably is not recommended but if you have a lot of cats or care for strays/ferals and are comfortable then go for it. I considered it too but mine are indoors except one who only occationally goes out. I don't worry about it much except for her. I have given tons of shots and drawn blood so I doubt I would have a problem giving shots to my cats.
