My cat has allergies-- in the fall and spring for about two weeks or so his eyes get very red and he has sneezing fits. This spring his eyes seem to be producing a lot more...um..."gunk" than usual (is it mucus?). I'm wiping it away, but I wondered if using some generic human eyedrops (nothing medicated, just the natural tears kind) would help to wash some of the pollen out? I'm wary to use anything on a cat's eye, but I hate to thing that it hurts him to see....
