Animal shelters in Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, Nashville, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago will be sending a cat for this new type of reality show.
The cats will travel to New York City and live together from June 6th to 16th in a specially-designed house on 5th Avenue. These cats will share a speically prepared kitty habitat.
Webcams will be in each room and the show will air on Meow Mix's real time dedicated website that will be online then at www.MeowMixHouse.com.
Every day of the competition, one cat will be voted off by the viewing audience. That cat won't be exiled, but will instead be sent to a home of the waiting adoptive parent from one of the cities listed above. The adoptive parent will get one year's supply of Meow Mix. And all 10 cats will be adults--who are more difficult to place.
If you are from any of the above cities, and would like to provide a good, loving home for an older shelter cat, would you please email/PM me for more information? The shelters are looking for good families and they want them pre-screened prior to the show airing-
