The babies have arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY! I came home from work on my lunch break and there they were already dryed off and nursing. So far we have 4 but it seems like she is trying to have another one. She keeps jumping up about every 15 minutes, like she is still having contractions. The only problem is that I know it's been over an hour since she had her last baby. The babies had to of been born somewhere between 8 and 12 this morning. Well I will give everyone an update and post pictures as soon as I can.

Congratulations!!

My Jada appeared to still have contractions and looked like she'd have another one until almost 24 hours later. I took her to the vet and all was fine. I think her uterus will just continue to contract for a while.

Congratulations!!! Missy had kitten #4 over 36 hours after #3 was born. Now that was quite a shock!

I know in several litters that my cats have had that last kitten takes the longest to come down as there are no other kittens to push it. Have had 2-3 hrs pass between the next to last and last kitten with no problems.

If she's still having contractions, she should be ok. Keep your eyes open.

Well good news, all is well. We have four beautiful babies. Two girls and two boys. Three of them look almost exactly alike, except my little girl has white feet, they are a really pretty light grey tabby and it looks like they may even have a little brown and I have one dark brown tabby...like momma. I did end up making a mad dash to the vet just b/c I am a paranoid person but luckily it turned that momma and the babies are doing great....except for a little tape worm. Toni looks really good today, all of her swelling has gone down and she's managed to clean herself up so she looks almost normal again. The babies are also doing great and I can't get over how ADORABLE they are. Both momma and babies are eating and drinking LOTS and the vet gave me some Eukanuba kitten food to start feeding Toni. The people at the pet store told me Innova (which what she normally gets) was good enough and that I didn't kitten food but then the vet told me otherwise, glad I found out. Anyway, attached are some pics. All I had was my camera phone so the pics aren't great but hopefully I will have some better ones soon. Thanks for everyone's help!!
