Is this normal?????

I had the same question a few weeks ago. It is completely normal, it the nervous system developing and making adjustments, according to what I have read and my vet.

I was actually wondering the same thing. Mine are just 3 days old and I've noticed the twitches. I figured it was muscular though. Nice to know it's normal.

You might also notice that as they get a little older, when they are nursing, their ears will twitch back and forth ... *grin* ... as others have already accurately pointed out, this is entirely normal.

I love the flutter-by ears!!
That is the cutest thing. Our son was 3, I think when he first saw the newborn babies nursing and they all had fluttering ears, he would giggle so hard.

I just sit and watch with the dumbest old grin on my face when they do the "flutter-by" ears - that is such a great name for it too!!! Perfectly described the motion!!
