as i have said before on different posts i am the proud mummy to be of a bengal we can collect him on the 10th of july. we have been to see him twice now and get on well with the breeders. when we went yesterday i ask and received permission to leave a blanket there so we can bring his familys scent home with us when we get him to ease the transition.

i would also like to leave the carrier there, so he can do the whole oh whats this giant box oh its a climbing frame hidy hole thing, but couldnt bring myself to ask as it seemed rude to leave something so large there

mostly wondering how you would think of these requests from an adoptive parent, would it be an inconvenience, maybe be glad we were doing everything we could to make the little guys transition easier?

i would be very greatful for any input you can give

thanks

I wouldn't have any problems with your ideas. I think it's great that you're thinking of and wanting to do everything possible to make your kittens journey to your home a stress-free one.
I think you should ask your breeder about the carrier, it's a good idea.

I agree, it is a great idea, and one that your breeder will probably appreciate.
We will all be looking for pictures around the middle of July!!
Congrats on your Bengal to be.

It's a good idea but A lot of breeders would not allow it because of the "germ" factor. They might be afraid that the blanket and carrier will transmit germs from other cats to the cats in their cattery. There's no harm in asking though.

when we went to visit koneko and asked if we could leave a blanket there he did ask if it was either clean or new and it was a new one

so when we go to visit again and ask about the box i think he will ask again
and it is a new box

it cant have cat on it if its new can it? i can always give it a scrub if there is a chance
