I saw these on an online commercial...they're kind of creepy & fairly realistic in their movements:

What do you think...fabulous or freakish?

Ummmmmm.....ok.... What's the point?
They look kind of ticked off! lol

Very interesting what people will pay for a simulation...
I guess this only suits people who cant be bothered to feed and clean a real cat?

That would creep me out having that thing sround! It looks mad.

They do look kinda angry. Why'd they make them look so mean?
I'd secretly like to get one just to freak out my real cats! Next time they keep me up all night, I'll bring out RoboCat to sort them out.

...terrifying.

Cute idea if you don't have the space for a real kitty but really want a pet of some sort. *shrug* don't see the scary part myself but then again I would love the robo dog Aibo that is available.

Seems like too much money for an imitation that I don't think can even come close! Although, I wonder...these cats probably wouldn't pull all of my tupperware out of my cabinets or hog the bed...hmmm, just maybe....

LOL, nope, I love my kiddo too much!

For people with more money than sense -- I guess they want an animated stuffed toy and no litter scooping. Whatever works, I suppose -- I'll take the real thing, thanks.

I found out about these when I saw a video of them. If you think they're creepy in the pictures, you should see them in action! They're actually pretty lifelike!
No, thanks. They're still toys, not pets.

Still, with the way some people have treated their pets, they would be better off with robots. We've heard too many stories of pets being abandoned because they didn't behave as expected.

They look creepy! I'd rather have the real thing!

Yikes, they look so creepy!

I'll take a real cat, thanks!

I think I'll keep what I have Mine are just a tad more life like

(to all) Well no kidding... I'd rather have a real kitty too. Some of you seem offended that they exist. It's hard to speak for whoever was deeply involved in making them, but I think it's just a reflection of how much the designers love cats. Imitation is a form of flattery. That's how I view this. No video link?

Here you go:

I wouldn't say I was offended by their existence, but after watching the video, I found them a bit sad perhaps. It shows people showing affection for these robots. Unless you really liked cats, but were...I don't know...highly allergic, and couldn't own one, I don't understand the purpose.

I can appreciate the technology behind it, though. Like I posted before, their movements are pretty lifelike!

A bit freaky but hey I love cats!
Well, the only good thing I can think of is there would be no being allergic to them..........give me my four flurry fluffballs anyday of the week!!!!

A Stepford cat? No thanks. Whats the point if they aren't real?
