She was a major pill today. Not only did she disrupt me and my mouse, computer mouse that is, but she stood, at attention, outside of my shower until I was done.

I openned the door and got a big MROOWW! from her. I then proceeded to go put my contac lenses in and that was not without Emmie, as she's rubbing me dry with her shedding hair, "hey cat, I just shaved, I dont need yours sticking to me." She says "Whatcha doing? can I rub past your hands as you are sticking them in your eyes?"

Next is the toothbrushing, she sticks her whole body in the sink just as I'm spitting out that nasty toothpaste and now it's all over her. Why are they so dang weird? Emms is currently laying next to my knee waiting for my next move, I think.

I get help with my morning toilette, also. Have you ever tried blowdrying your hair or putting on makeup with a 14 lb. cat draped across your shoulders? Ah, love!

Awwww...she wuvs you!! I also get help with my morning routine from Hannah, the Helper. As soon as I open the shower curtain, she races in from wherever she's been and hops up on the side of the tub. Kinda hard to dry off when she's sitting there! She's such a delight, so I don't mind her 'helping'.

My Lucky tries to defend me from the insidious blowdryer monster (and of course it's sidekick the hairbrush). God forbid i put the brush down, she'll attack and drive it across the room. Makes getting your hair done a long process in the mornings!

one of my cats always, always joins me during my morning routine, he waits outside the shower, welcomes me back into the dry world with a meow and then promptly dries my legs, he then complains until I drape the towel over him too, he loves it. He also has a routine when Im sat on the loo ! three times back and forth, rubbing my legs, until I tickle his tail then off he runs ! I think it great that he honors me with his company, awh bless ´em all eh !!
