Ugh, that just reminded me of how I used to put the bunnies together too cuz they would "play" or at least that's what I thought, (that's the funny part) and my parents DID butcher them and eat them. (that's the very not so funny part) Once my mom said it was chicken we were eating and later told me it was one of the bunnies!
I never forgave her for that and never ate rabbit again!

We didn't get away with too much at home, but it was a different story at my grandparents' house. One afternoon when we were staying there, my grandmother had to go somewhere, and left us in grandpop's care. He fell asleep in his recliner. Well, he was bald, with a white fringe around the sides and back. My brother and I found some magic markers, and "decorated" the fringe with yellow, red, and brown stripes, and drew a red devil on his pate. I don't remember how he finally got it out/off, but I do know that he had to go to a Masonic Lodge meeting that evening replete with stripes and the devil!

Here... or There... Hmmm
The only thing I really did was take all of my moms and brothers lighters all the time. I never smoked or played with them or anything, but I would just keep taking them. I had a big bag of like 30 of them!

Ok... one bad thing me AND my brother and sister did was sell my moms dog to my brothers girl friend. The dog was annoying (I'm a cat person HELLO!!!) and my brothers girlfriend really wanted the dog and would take great care of it, so we sold her the dog for $10 and told my mom it ran away!

We told her about 10 years later.... she was P-O'ed, but not too bad cuz he went to someone nice!

Ok.. I know it was naughty but I was the baby and young young, my brother was like 18 so he should have known better!

I used to make my Mom sooo mad! I had waist length curly hair and she loved to make a fuss over it,washing and curling it...until I got old enough to get tired of it. As soon as she got it fixed to suit her,I would sneak out to the garden and pour a cup of dirt on top of my head! After about a week of this,I no longer had long curly hair
I was only four, but I can still see that shocked look she had on her face 40 yr ago!!

When I was young they had these dog treats called Doggie Kisses that looked like chocolate kisses.

I gave my father one and told him I saved my chocolate for him one day when he came home from work and he ate it. I thought it was hysterical. LOL I must have been about what, 8 or 9?

I don't know how he found out, but he found out and I caught it for that one. LOL

Gosh I was a good child! At least toward my parents.

I do remember putting makeup on this guy who was sleeping once. I grew up 2 doors down from him and his sister. Our mother's are still good friends. A few years after we left NY they came to visit. The adults went out, he fell asleep, his sister and I decorated him well...nailpolish and everything. I had to be 13 by this point.

I didn't pull many pranks till I hit my mid to late teen years. By then my friends knew to look out. I am legendary among them!

My cats dropped a furry mouse in one of my Mom's boots in the garage once (it was on a lower step) She totally freaked because she thought it was a real mouse. I would just continued their tradition by popping one in her shoes or boots every so often to hear her scream.

I told my little sister she had to drink a glass of beer to belong to some club I started. It was a small glass of Listerine. I was young. I know it was stupid when I look back now.

A memory finally came back. When I was five, we were camping at one of the great lakes. I was farther back from the shore than two older boys who were throwing rocks into the water. I wanted to show off and see if I could throw farther than them from where I was. I threw a few rocks. Then I accidentally hit one of them.
He rubbed his head. Then the other boy turned around. They both pointed at me, started chasing me, and I ran like hell back to my parents' tent. They must have quit the chase before I got to the tent. I never told anyone what I did and never threw rocks like that again.

Don't worry, one time these boys were bothering me and my friend at her Grandma's. We told em they were tresspassing and I picked up a big thick stick and started threatining them. They kept comming and I pretended I was gonna hit them, well I did; I whacked one in the jaw real good!

Hey, I did that to my brother too. Except onetime he put the lipstick on himself. I also had this kinda swishy lingerie robe that he appropriated and he used to wear it and say it was his "smoking" jacket. He doesn't seem scarred, but at around age 8 he stopped doing whatever I said.
I had both siblings convinced for a short time that there was a girl named Suzie Jacuzzi that looked like me that visited and called once in awhile. It was pretty funny. That's sorta where Suzie got her name. Suzie was from England BTW and favored exterme clothing as well as huge furry hats.
My sister squirted toothpaste in my bed when she was mad, and she was sick of my mom combing her hair when she was real little, so she took all the combs in the house and hid them under a bed.

This is one of the funniest threads I've read in a long time!

I also remember one other thing...maybe I should've been seeing a shrink at age 6!

Anyhoo, I remember putting makeup on the family dog. My mom got so angry with me because I had put lipstick on the dogs lips and she couldn't get it off.

My sister and I shared an imaginary friend called Suzy as well, it was the one time we got along when we "played" with her.

These are really funny.

When I was about 6 we lived in a house where the water heater was right next to the bathroom sink. Because of how the walls were structured there was a tiny little shelf right next to the sink, about 1/2 inch on the left hand side. I used to take Mom and Dad's toothbrushes and set them on the shelf. They could never find them and always had to ask me, even though the brushes were in plain view!

I also kept mothes and grasshoppers in the drawers of my vanity, but that didn't last too long!

Overall though, I was a pretty good kid.
