I found this kitten in my yard and since I am a cat lover I just knew it was meant to be. I believe that this kitten is about 3 weeks old. She weighs about 11 oz. I found her late day before yesterday. She if eating more and more every time. I am relived that she is eating formula that I have made her. How ever she hasn't had a bowl movement yet. She hasn't urinated very much either. I have tried a damp warm wash cloth in small strokes after she is done eating to no avail. I am not sure what to do at this point. Please help!!! Very scared and I can't really afford a trip to the vet unless I absolutely have to.

If you are using a damp cloth its hard to tell if they have urinated.. ( i am hand raising 2 litters myself) the vet says they can go 2-3 days without a bowel movement by 3+ weeks old. Good luck! I know ive never been so excited to see kitten poop as i was with this past litter of babies

Well, I was more concerned this morning so I called a vet to ask what to do. The vet told me that I could give the kitten .5cc of Milk of Magnesia 2x a day. Then no sooner I hung up the phone the kitten went pooped I was so excited. Thank you for your help.

YAY! POOP!

Congrats on the new baby! I'm glad you don't need to use MOM, but that is good to have as an option!
