Well, I am sorry that I have to give you bad news but my Nettie passed away tonight. This was the hardest time in my life. They found a tumor in her large intestine and had to remove 10 inches of the intestine. The doctor advised us that he didnt think it was malignant and he was going to have it tested. He did advise us that he was afraid of bacterial infection with an operation like this. He called us every hour or so to let us know what was going on. Netties pressure was low and her blood sugar. She came out of anesthia and was breathing on her own but by 10:30 P.M. she had to have a tube to breath and the doctor told us it didnt look good. By 11:12P.M. he called and told us that she died. Her heart stopped and they tried to revive her but couldnt. When Nettie died I felt a piece of my heart being ripped right out of me. I was hysterical and for the first time I seen my husband cry.I mean sob. She was and will always be a special part of our life.
I want to thank all of you for being so understanding and caring. I will talk to you soon. Tommorrow we will be going to hospital. Nettie will be cremated and will get and urn and have her name engraved on it. When the Lord calls me, Nettie will be going along.
