Do you all remember how I was sent to a closing plant? Well, we were told that they were shutting down in June. So, back in mid-April, I found out which group I was in. I was in the 1st group to be released, which was anywhere from end of May to mid-june! So, about 2 weeks ago, rumors were flying that they were extending the closeure date! Sure enough, those :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor:s did!
They have extened it til September, which pushes us out an additional 10 weeks, depending on which group you were in. I know alot of you will say that is good, because that is extra time to find a job, which I can see, but I was counting on being released! A lot of people are thinking that they don't want to pay out the severance packages, especially with the people who have 15 years and up, and some are even guessing they will not close in September, but in December. It's just frustrating to me ..... Oh, and now they are saying that if you quit, you dont get a severance package....
The thing about this is, a lot of people have got jobs lined up, thinking they were going to be released by June, and now they pull this stunt. They are only working with special cases, too.
