Booger's favorite toy is a dum-dum lollipop. She carries it around, then throws it so she can chase it. We don't give them to her,she steals them from my daughter.
Lil Bit loves to play with doll clothes
and Anna loves newspaper. She likes to crawl under it,then roll and kick!

My cat Pwne loves Q-Tips, dirty or not. She figured out how to get into the cupboard under the bathroom sink to find them and drag them all over the house.

My cat Noira loves anything leather, feathery, fake leather, velvet. She has a little fetish there I think.

The rest of my cats just love those darn catnip pillow that are about $.99 at PetSmart. They suck on them and wrestle with them until they are completely soaked in saliva hehe.

My two older cats don't play much anymore, but occasionally they bat fur mice around. I can also get them to chase laser pointers.

My youngest cat loves craft pompoms and foil wrappers.

Hannah BEGS for me to get out her DaBird toy. She goes ape over that thing!
Anytime you pass by the cabinet where it's stored, she's right there asking for you to bring it out for her! She also loves to play with the laser pointer.

Callie doesn't play much anymore, but in her day, she loved to dart under large pieces of paper and chase her "string".

Hi
Here are all my kitties favorite toys:
Melody: Actually now that I think about it, she is to much of a princess to play with the measly little toys I have bought

Uno: Loves the foam balls and the rattle mice
Dusty: Anything that moves!
Ginger: Furry mice-she carries them around and cries
Gracie: Pipe cleaners that I coil up, but she only has access to them with supervison.

I would be very careful about the twist ties. I am a vet tech and in the 6 yrs. I have been in the field I can say that I have seen atleast 3 kitties come in for surgery who have swallowed them whole. Very dangerous and expensive!!! Try the pipe cleaners, but only while you are home to supervise! Gracie loves them and will now sit at the container I keep them in and cry till I get her one out! Have funand your kitty is a cutie!!! I am partial to orange and white myself!!

Yeah - my concerns exactly. We've stopped giving him twistie ties, and instead, milk jug rings and large cable ties.

Julius says thanks!
My wife and I actually weren't looking at orange and white cats, but we fell in love as soon as we saw his pictures on the shelter, and had to bring him home!

Both:
Anything I can pull around on a string (like da bird)
Anything that moves on it's own (or me proprelled)
Anything that dangles
Ink pens (which they can't have)
A belt slid under a door or under a rug

Cindy will sometimes play with the little cloth catnip mice, but Swanie wants nothing to do with it if it doesn't move. He will play with a catnip mouse when it's fresh, for a few minutes, just to get a buzz I guess. Cindy doesn't care about catnip.

Shermie's crazy - he goes after anything! But his favorite would probably have to be the milk jug rings!

KC's not into toys... he'll occasionally put out a tender paw to touch it, but otherwise he just doesn't play. The only thing I've found that he still goes for are flies (not much of a toy). And Sherm - him and Shermie tear the house up!!

My kitties' favorite toy is the laser beam keychain. They go nuts as soon as they hear me opening the drawer that I keep it in. I feel bad sometimes cuz it's not like they can ever catch the light but it just keeps them busy forever. I got it at PETCO.

Yeah, I feel bad too when I'm using the laser lights to play with them...I can't give them that thrill of victory.

Da Bird OWNS. They've never been tired of playing with it. I tire out much faster and I'm just waving the wand around.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
LuckyGirl the Fly Catcher to the rescue!!!! My kitties absolute FAVORITE thing is when a fly gets in the house! She goes into instant attack mode!!! And even gets up on the table (a big NO NO) and darts through the house at 90mph to catch it. This beats any toy you can buy in a store. Her 2nd favorite is this little zig zag thing covered in faux rabbit fur....she plays with it for hours. We actually have to take it away for us to go to bed. We tried the 1st night to lie in bed and she was making such a rukus I could hear my wine glasses clinking together in the cabinet!

Funny you should mention that - I've been having bee problems on the balcony of my apartment, outside of the livingroom, and Julius loves hanging out at the window and swatting at them from behind the glass. But just yesterday, a couple bees actually managed to slip through the cracks (I have NO idea how), and Julius promptly darted back into the bedroom and under the bed.

spikes fave toy: anything he can make move or already moves. he will take is paw and scoop out a peice of dry cat food and play with it for a while than he'll eat it and do it all over again. the other thing: my flip-flops. he'll carry them all over the house and play with them. he is still a kitten so that might explain why he plays with EVERYTHING he can get his paws on.

I have two that love rolled up kneehighs. They walk around the house with it in their mouth and Merrooww, merrooww! And then usually bat it under a door somewhere, so when you step on it you don't know WHAT soft, squishy thing is under your toes!

This has been a favourite with all my cats

You clip on the attachements (feathers, pom poms etc) so when they get damaged you can just replace them with a new one. It has the advantage of having a long handle and string and is well balanced so I can sit on the sofa watching tv and drag that along the ground at the same time - an easy way to give my cats exercise and fun! They race up and down the room after it. Recently I've tried attaching a piece of food (either a piece of fresh chicken or a cat treat wrapped up in paper) to the end by a bit of string (instead of the feather etc.) and my older cat (nearly 9 years old) loves to chase it up and down the room. I still have the one I bought for my 2 kittens 9 years ago and with some new attachments my new kitten loves it also.

My Jaffa (the older cat) also loves a fluffy mouse that has a velcro opening that allows you to put dried catnip inside it. He spends ages rolling on the floor, licking it and rubbing it over his face.

When my cats were kittens, their favorite toy was a hollow blue ring about a foot across (maybe a little more that had long openings on the top and sides and an opening all the way around in the middle, with a ping pong ball inside that they chased around and around. Entertained them for hours! (and they still sell them, mine is at least, oh my
, 10 years old!

Is it safe for cats to chew on plastic straws? Swanie just got up on the computer table and got hold of the straw I had in my drink and went to town chewing on it. I let him chew for awhile while I held it, but then I took it away from him. He would very much like to have it back.
