Never went to highschool, but in 7th grade I used to go to school for homeroom (long enough for roll call), then leave

I was bad, so bad I was expelled and had to finish middle school (and complete my GED) in an alternative school, which was actually pretty cool, only half days and I could choose which half!

Oh yeah. I had quite a few hooky days where all I did was go to the mall down the road and hide in the bookstore.
I was BAAAAAD.

Oh yeah, and wrote notes to excuse myself.
They called my mother to say that the excuse notes were in different handwriting, and when she confronted me about it I told that was stupid because I wrote them all myself!
Mom was pretty understanding about it, though. I didn't get in trouble because she thought it was funny too, I was just told not to do it any more.

My freshman year in high school I skipped 2 classes each for a whole semester......but i kicked myself come my senior year because since I failed those classes I had to take them again before I could graduate. so my last semester as a senior out of an 8 class period day i was taking all 8 classes....you were supose to have 2 off periods with only 6 classes total. I couldn't do that
but oh well I got my diploma so that's all that really matters.

Only my senior year and only like twice. My school was tough about calling your parents when you missed class.

Man when I did that I got busted for forgery and suspended for 2 weeks with 3 weeks of detention after the suspension was over. And was grounded for 3 months by my parents. All because I skipped a class and signed my dad's name on it. after that I just started skipping and not worrying about getting caught.

I only skipped school twice.... and got caught both times! the best part was that the first day I ever skipped I had a paper due and I went to school early to give it to my friend to turn in for me and it was that teacher that figured it out
I actually got a Saturday detention for it, never had been in trouble before, was in the top 10 of my class and STILL got a stupid Saturday

I did in high school a few times, but my mother knew about it. There were a few classes in college that I REALLY skipped. I actually got an exam back once and on the top the professor had written "Perhaps if you came to class a little more, you would have done better"

Same here. She gave us each a "free day" or two each school year, as long as we kept our grades up and did the make-up work. I remember once in my freshman year, she pulled us out of school early to take us to the amusement park as a surprise!!
It was toward the end of the year, anyway. But no, I never did skip classes or anything like that. I wouldn't dare. Not because of the consequences... Just because I was a good student I guess (not bragging). I did fake sick a few times though, and even if my mom could tell, she understood; we didn't do it that often
